Happy New Year my friends!

Hello Friends!

I want to apologize for the long pause in my blog posting. Unfortunately, I got pretty sick just before Thanksgiving and I am still trying to bounce back from that.  It will take a bit of time from what I have been told and so as the old song goes it is "One Day at a Time."

I am sharing some of what has been keeping me occupied - right after Thanksgiving as in Saturday - we had 2 of our kids home and so we went to visit "The Real Santa" in Merrifield, VA at the Merrifield Garden Center. I have taken my girls there since my oldest Rebecca was 2 based on the recommendation of my sister and it was a match made for years. We have spent hours waiting for Santa and when I married Chris I was blessed to introduce the tradition to him and Thomas. Thomas is now 19, Sabrina is in her early 20s and Rebecca is in her upper 20's.  Sadly, this was more than likely, the end of this particular tradition for a while for everyone. So even though I was not really feeling great, I had to go and I love this photo.

Next in the schedule of events was Sabrina's birthday and she wanted to go to paint a canvas - we went to the Gainesville Muse Paint bar and took Grandma with and we all had fun and made our masterpieces!

We created some gift tags for the church for the children's Christmas shop so the kids would have some tags for their parent's gifts. Some 200 tags were provided!

I want to share some of the cards that were done over the Christmas holiday thanks to all the help from Chris and Sabrina. I could not have gotten the cards for Church done without their help.  With my wrist with a tear that is taking forever to heal - cutting and using the Big Shot is not easy for me to do.

200ish Cards for New Life Christian Church - Chantilly
I used some new and some old stamp sets. It is a unique blessing to have my cards bless others. Enjoy a quick little video of just a few of the cards I made for our pastors to send out.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I am getting back up and running so you will start to see more cards, tutorials, blog hops and videos coming in the near future.

Happy Stamping!
